Whole genome sequencing of Vibrio campbellii from shrimp hatcheries and farm

Vibrio campbellii is a luminescent bacterial pathogen in shrimp aquaculture. It is the major causative agent for luminescent vibriosis causing upto 100% mortality in mysis and postlarval stages of shrimp. The bacterium has also served as a model organism for studying luminescence and quorum sensing.
