This oocyte expresses EMTB-3GFP (green, tracking microtubules), mChe-H2B (red, tracking chromosomes), and wild-type Aurora B (as a control for Aur-B122R). The three thumbnails represent sequential segments of the time lapse imaging experiment of the same oocyte, with time interval of 2 min within each segment and between the segments. The Z sections are 2 micrometers apart, from oocyte surface to the interior. The total length of the movie is 24 min.
