Segmental vitiligo (SV) is characterized by unilateral skin depigmentation, often unresponsive to standard treatments. This study reports on 40 patients with refractory facial SV treated with 1.5% ruxolitinib cream, showing a 45% VASI75 improvement rate at 24 weeks. Key findings include:
• Higher VASI75 rates in progressive-stage patients
• Comparable efficacy to traditional therapies but lower than non-segmental vitiligo results
• No serious adverse reactions observed.
