Nine pollen samples were submitted for analysis from two sites
in the Cyprus Mines Hansen Project area in Fremont County, Colorado.
Five samples were taken from a floodplain campsite (5FNI89) during
trenching operations, and the remaining four samples were obtained
from a rockshelter (5FN349). Information was sought concerning the
vegetation at the time of the occupation of these two sites. Evidence
of the specific economic use of plants at these two sites was also
sought.
