Satellite-derived sunshine duration product - DISSM/INPE

This dataset is the satellite-derived sunshine duration (SDU) product developed at the Satellite and Meteorological Sensors Division of the National Institute of Space Research for the period from September 2013 to December 2017.

The data is delivered as daily SDU in hours, it has a spatial resolution of 0.04 degree on a regular latitude-longitude grid of 1800x1800 pixels within latitudes 50°S to 21.96°N and longitudes 100°W to 28.04°W. Each netCDF file correspond to a day and has a size of 26MB.

Validation with in situ measurements and intercomparison with other satellite product is currently being submitted for peer review.
