Transit Service Areas (2023)

Transit Service Areas for the San Francisco Bay Region. These areas represent 1/2 mile buffers from existing transit stops. Existing transit stop data was downloaded from the 511 SF Bay 511 General Transit Feed Specification API in May 2023. The initial data set was then simplified by dissolving buffer polygon boundaries by the values found in the agency_id, agency_nm, and route_type columns.
