Calibrated Reference System Data from ISARRA SCALES Intercomparison
收藏资源简介:
During the September 2024 Small-UAS Coordination for Atmospheric Low-Level Environmental Sampling (SCALES) campaign in Oklahoma, U.S.A., over 15 teams deployed more than 40 distinct aerial platforms. To support the validation of these diverse participating systems, a specialized array of reference platforms was co-located at the Kessler Atmospheric and Ecological Field Station (KAEFS). This dataset comprises the calibrated data from the instrumentation suite (including a standardized 10-meter Mesonet tower, an 18-meter portable tower, a mobile multi-sensor mast, radiosondes, a reference UAS, and ground-based Doppler lidars) used to calibrate the UAS platforms, as well as determine the systematic uncertainty of each measured variable. The data is provided in netCDF format using the WMO standard described here: https://community.wmo.int/site/knowledge-hub/programmes-and-initiatives/wmo-uncrewed-aircraft-systems-demonstration-campaign/uas-demonstration-campaign-uas-data-representation-standards
