ISSUES OF WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AND IMPROVING AGRICULTURAL EFFICIENCY

This thesis analyzes the issues of effective water resource management and increasing the economic efficiency of agricultural production based on an integrated approach. The study reveals the strategic importance of rational water use in the context of global climate change, water scarcity, demographic growth, and aging irrigation systems. It also substantiates the possibilities of increasing productivity and reducing resource consumption through the introduction of innovative irrigation technologies, digital monitoring systems, water-saving agrotechnologies, and improving institutional management mechanisms. The results of the study are aimed at formulating scientific and practical recommendations that will ensure sustainable development in agriculture, maintain ecological balance, and strengthen food security.
