The formation of the Loess Plateau in China

The dataset contains hydrogen and oxygen isotope data of different water bodies in the Loess Plateau, Pb isotope of loess, surrounding deserts, grassland, and volcanic rocks in Tibetan Plateau collected from different references, and Helium isotope of groundwate. Hydrogen and oxygen helps to determine the groundwater source of the Loess Plateau. Helium isotope is used to analysis the depth of groundwater transport. Pb isotope is used to further study the deposition of loess and red clay.
