Analysis of the Gut Microbiota Composition in Resistant Hypertension Insights from a Cross-Sectional Study

This study compares the intestinal microbiota of particularly resistant hypertension, normotensive, and controlled hypertensive individuals. A cross-sectional study included 17 normotensive, 24 controlled hypertensive individuals, and 22 particularly resistant hypertension adults aged 40 to 70 years. Nutritional, biochemical, stool parameters, and hemodynamic measurements were assessed.
