FLOOR PANEL

A square floor panel is described that has upper and lower sides that are parallel to each other and substantially planar， and that each has two pairs of opposing side edges that connect the upper and lower sides， and the opposing sides in a pair. The edge is provided with a complementary profile to connect adjacent floor panels to each other. In at least one pair of opposing side edges， the profile of the first side edge is provided with front and opposing surfaces， and in each pair of opposing side edges， the profile of the corresponding second side edge is provided with mutually coordinating front and opposing surfaces， respectively. do. The front faces and opposing faces are provided with locking tabs which cooperate in the mutually fastening position of adjacent floor panels . The floor panel is further provided with two reinforcing layers extending substantially parallel to the upper and lower sides of the floor panel， and the locking tab is located substantially at the height of the reinforcing layer.
