Chimarrogale leander Genome sequencing and assembly

The _Chimarogale leander_Thomas 1902 belongs to the family Soricidae, which was mainly distributed to then south of China . It is large in size, with long sharp snout, small eyes, developed tragus, hairy fingers on feet and toes. It inhabits by mountain streams, swimming in the water or sneaking under the water. To better understand the mitochondrial genomic characteristics, phylogeny and evolution of the C. leander, we determined and described the mitogenome sequence of C. leander in order to obtain basic genetic information about this species.
