To perform functional annotation, we compared the predicted protein sequences to the SwissProt database using blastp v2.13.0 with an e-value threshold of 1e-5. Additionally, we used InterProScan version 5.57 and kofam_scan v1.3.0 for Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) annotation.
