This dataset contains outcomes from a walking and turning task conducted under three conditions: (1) overground walking (OVG), (2) walking on an omnidirectional treadmill without virtual reality (ODT), and (3) walking on an omnidirectional treadmill with virtual reality (ODTVR). Participants performed 45° and 90° turns, allowing for the analysis of body segment reorientation and spatiotemporal outcomes. The dataset supports direct comparisons of locomotor strategies across conditions. - Dataset 01 sample characteristics; - Dataset 02 onsets of body segment reorientation; - Dataset 03 amplitudes of body segment reorientation; - Dataset 04 spatiotemporal gait outcomes for turning trials; - Dataset 05 walking speed during straight walking trials.
