Study on the ear-side gland of Bufo gargarizans

Amphibians of the Bufonidae family have glands that secrete venom behind their ears. Toad venom as chemical defense against predators and microbial infection, with high medicinal value. The main protein and polypeptide components of toad secretion were studied by transcriptome and proteomics analysis.
