Tanzania (2010): MAP Coverage and Quality of Coverage of PSI Condoms, Dume, Ngao insecticide net treatment, and WaterGuard water treatment in Tanzania

PSI/Tanzania intends to use project MAP to: • Assess the geographical coverage in each of the country’s five zones, for Salama, Salama Studs and Salama 3 Bomba, Dume condoms, Ngao insecticide net treatment, WaterGuard liquid and WaterGuard tabs water treatment and how has this changed between 2006 and 2010 • Asseses markert penetration of condoms in rural and urban outlets in regions of Tanzania. Specific research objectives are the following: • Monitor the coverage a nd quality of coverage of each of PSI/Tanzania’s social marketed products in rural areas; Ngao net treatment kits, Salama, Salama Studs and Salama 3 Bomba condoms, WaterGuard liquid and WaterGuard tabs water treatment. The five year 2006 – 2010 trend analysis is to be perfomed in order to assess levels of change in key indicators over the specified period of time. • Award and set the next year’s reward strategy for the field teams based on programmatic objectives.
