The Tilt-Compensated Heading Module TCM 2.6 12397 was deployed on 2009-08-28 at Wally Land. Wally Land is a location within Barkley Canyon gas hydrate field, where hydrate dynamics are observed. This device is a Orientation Instrument. Orientation instruments are used on ships, ROVs and instrument packages to record variables like heading, pitch and roll. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
