Americas: growth of coworking space 2017-2020, by market

Coworking is gaining popularity across the Americas. Several large cities in these areas have experienced booming numbers in the amount of coworking space available: cities such as Lima and Miami have seen a massive growth in coworking space over a period of three years, according to a report from the 2nd quarter of 2020. However, although all analyzed cities experienced a grow in the coworking footprint, some cities, such as Charlotte, saw a smaller increase. The coworking footprint refers to the coworking space available in a city. Coworking spaces have become more widely available worldwide between 2005 and 2020, amounting to 26,300 spaces as of 2020.
