PhyloRNA: A Database of RNA Secondary Structures with Associated Phylogeny (DOI Reference)

This entry provides a DOI for PhyloRNA, a curated meta-database of RNA secondary structures linked with phylogenetic information. PhyloRNA contains a collection of known RNA secondary structures, either extracted from public databases or derived from 3D structural data. Each structure is annotated with multiple features - such as pseudoknot presence, base-pairing statistics, and structural abstractions - and is associated with taxonomic data from five curated phylogenies. The database is intended to support evolutionary analyses of RNA structure across organisms, offering a platform where structural and phylogenetic information are integrated.
