BETA-FOR_SP5_Decomposition_RatCarcass_2023

This data set contains decomposition rates of rat carcasses on all BETA-FOR patches measured in spring and late summer 2023. Rat carcasses were placed on the patches in pairs, where one sample was accessible to all invertebrate detritivores (insect_exclusion = False) and the other sample was enclosed by an insect net, preventing access for detritivors larger than 1mm (insect_exclusion = True).
