A mouse model of patient-derived glioma tissue was used to explore the relationship between transcriptome alterations and tissue stiffness. Overall design: Female NOD scid gamma /J#5557 immunodeficient mice were used for xenograft experiment.The mice were housed on aseptic condition at The Centre for Phenogenomics (TCP) in Toronto. 4 mice were subjected to intracranial orthotopic implantation of human GBM stem cell line (G411). Each mouse was injected with 10000 G411 cells. After 11 day, tumor was dissociated and we performed tissue stiffness measurement by micropipette aspiration right away.
