"Replication Data for: "Outdoor Ground Surface Influences Spatiotemporal Parameters of Walking for Individuals Undergoing Rehabilitation"

This data set includes spatiotemporal gait data from 46 individuals undergoing outpatient physical therapy for various mobility impairments. Participants performed a 10-meter walk test (10MWT) on smooth, level, indoor surfaces and then walked over six standardized terrains (small/large pavers, up sloping/down sloping gravel, mulch, and sand). Participants were videorecorded and their time and number of steps were used to calculate average walking speed, cadence, step length, and walk ratio. Participants made two passes over the uneven terrains which were averaged. Exceptions occurred in three participants who paused on one pass, so their uninterrupted passes were used for analysis.
