A Service Reference Model for Higher Education: Materials, Methods, and Mappings

The repository contains the Service Reference Model (SRM) described in the article, as well as five higher education service catalogues (EDUCAUSE, Finland, Germany, NTNU and UCISA) in structured Markdown format. It also contains the complete set of mapping artefacts that link each catalogue to the SRM. The mappings were produced using a large language model (OpenAI Codex 5.2 via Visual Studio Code) and a defined prompt protocol. They were then reversed programmatically into aggregated SRM coverage tables. Visualisations of the mapping results are provided in SVG, PDF and PNG formats for each catalogue. Processing scripts (reverse_mapping.py and do-all-SVGs.bash) are included to support reproducibility. See the Readme.md file for further details.
