Diatomite production in Algeria 2010-2019

The production of diatomite - also called diatomaceous earth or kieselguhr - in Algeria stood at 2,437 metric tons in 2019. This was a slight decline compared to the previous year when the production reached 2,468 metric tons. In the period under review, a peak of over 2,500 metric tons of diatomite was registered in 2016.
