Bacterial and Fungal diversity in Anopheles habitats

This study characterized the bacterial and fungal communities within breeding habitats of varying productivity (productive, semi-productive, and non-productive) and assessed their influence on Anopheles larval microbiota in southern Ghana. Over a 20-week period, larval densities were monitored bi-weekly, and water and larval samples were collected for microbial profiling using 16S rRNA and ITS amplicon sequencing.
