Here we present the draft genome sequence of CcD93 a commensal strain of Capnocytophaga canimorsus isolated from the mouth of a healthy dog. It has been used in a comparative genomic approach that provided a list of potential pathogenic factors exclusively conserved in clinical strains of C. canimorsus.
