We examined the effects of fasudil by hippocampal tissue transcriptome analysis in AD model mice treated with fasudil (ADF) and compared with AD mice treated with saline (ADNS) and wild type mice (WT) of the same age and gender. In addition, we identified the global dysregulation of SiRNA and lncRNA in the AD mice. Further, we validated the differential expression of SiRNA and lncRNA . Overall, the present study showed that the expression of SiRNA and lncRNA with important functional implications was changed in AD mice treated with or without fasudil as compared to wild type mice. The results will pave a novel direction for future studies of molecular mechanisms whereby fasudil and other drugs acts as potential treatment of AD.
