Microbiome and resistome from yellow perch gut living in different lakes under anthropogenic pressure

This study aimed to analyze the gut microbiome and resistome (antimicrobial resistance gene profile) of yellow perch from two types of lakes under different levels of anthropogenic pressure: wastewater effluent-impacted lakes and undeveloped lakes. Yellow perch were sampled from five lakes in Minnesota, USA. DNA and RNA from these samples were extracted and sequenced for analysis.
