Heavy rainfall has been affecting northern England over the past week. The Environment Agency has issued more than 100 flood warnings and flood alerts, including five severe warnings on the River Don in South Yorkshire. About 500 homes have been flooded in Doncaster with more than 1,000 properties evacuated in areas hit by the floods. Hundreds of people in Fishlake have fled their homes after the village was submerged.<br>
