Transcriptional profiling of COVID-19 patients

To investigate the transcriptional and posttranscriptional changes in COVID-19 patients, we used RNA-seq from moderate, severe and critical hospitalized patients. We performed differential gene expression, alternative splicing and alternative polyadenylation analyses. From the results we performed pathway enrichment to identify biomarkers and pathways that could differentiate severe from critical COVID-19 patients.
