Gene expression profile, population of macrophages and lymphocytes of the spleen in conditions of liver regeneration after 70% resection in mice

The aim of our work was to study the expression profile of spleen genes during liver regeneration, to identify possible biologically active substances that affect reparative processes and inflammation in other organs, as well as the state of the monocytic-macrophage and lymphocytic population of the spleen after liver resection. We used microarrays for comparison of spleen gene expression on different time periods after 70% liver resection 4 groups were studied: the control group - intact spleen, spleen in a 1 day, 3 days and 7 days after liver resection. Each group included 3-6 samples.
