The dataset accompanies the preprint for article "Gyroid-Based Heat Exchangers for Heat Transfer Intensification: Additive Manufacturing and Practical Considerations". The dataset is organized into 4 subfolders, containing the data being published within the manuscript: a PNG figure containing a workflow of the gyroid heat exchanger design and manufacturing process (subfolder: "Figure 1", filename: "Figure_1.png"); a PNG figure containing a cross-section of heat exchanger with hot (red colour) and cold (blue) heat transfer fluids and gyroid-based heat transfer surface (yellow colour) - LEFT, and a detail of the gyroid structure and its CAD representation (grid) - RIGHT (subfolder: "Figure 2", filename: "Figure_2.png"); a JPG figure containing a photograph of an additively manufactured one fourth of the heat exchanger with the internal gyroid-based geometry (subfolder: "Figure 3", filename: "Figure_3.jpg"); a CSV table containing iterative optimisation of 3D printing of the gyroid-based heat exchanger (subfolder: "Table 1", filename: "Table_1.csv").
