Number of establishments from 1 to 4 employees

The indicator shows the number of establishment units located on the entity employing at least one employee on 30 June and 31 December. The unit of establishment is a place, geographically identifiable by an address, where at least one activity of the undertaking is carried out or from which the activity is carried out. Series breaks: — as of 1 January 2011: output of statistics of inactive employees following the modification of the declaration of public sector staff (Capelo reform). — as of 1 January 2012: output of statistics of inactive employees following the amendment of the declaration of public sector staff (Capelo reform): continuation and end. — as of 1 January 2014: increase in the number of establishments following the complete identification of establishment units.
