Share of the urban population Mongolia 2014-2023

The share of urban population in Mongolia saw no significant changes in 2023 in comparison to the previous year 2022 and remained at around 69.09 percent. Nevertheless, 2023 still represents a peak in the share in Mongolia. The urban population refers to the share of the total population living in urban centers. Each country has their own definition of what constitutes an urban center (based on population size, area, or space between dwellings, among others), therefore international comparisons may be inconsistent.

在2023年，与2022年相比，蒙古城市人口比例并未发生显著变化，依旧维持在约69.09%。尽管如此，2023年仍为蒙古城市人口比例的峰值。所谓城市人口，是指居住在城市中心的总人口比例。各国对于何为城市中心的定义不尽相同（基于人口规模、面积、住宅之间的空间等因素），因此国际间的比较可能存在不一致性。
