资源简介:
The Corps Water Management System (CWMS) includes four interrelated models to assist with water management for the basin: - GeoHMS (Geospatial Hydrologic Modeling Extension) - ResSIM (Reservoir System Simulation) - RAS (River Analysis System) - FIA (Flood Impact Analysis) Lake Okeechobee has a watershed area of about 5,500 square miles. The watershed covers most of the central part of Florida, south from Orlando to the Everglades Agricultural Area and generally east of the central peninsular ridge that acts as the drainage divide for runoff flowing either into the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico. The individual drainage basins in the area constitute a single watershed, as in most cases their waters intermingle during periods of heavy rainfall. The watershed is comprised of the following 8 basins: Upper Kissimmee Basin, Lower Kissimmee Basin, Istokpoga Basin, Fisheating Creek, Taylor Creek-Nubbin Slough, St. Lucie, Caloosahatchee, and Lake Okeechobee.
