Dataset of Latin-Script Anglicisms in Chinese Tourism-Related Websites

This dataset contains 29 examples of Latin-script Anglicisms, English-based abbreviations, initialisms, acronyms, and pinyin-based initialisms collected from Chinese tourism-related websites. The data were gathered from four domains of online tourism communication: trade fairs, news portals, online travel agencies, and user-generated content. Each item includes its source, source category, and citation. The dataset supports the analysis presented in the article “An Overview of Latin-Script Anglicisms in Chinese Tourism-Related Websites.”
