资源简介:

This dataset contains six supplementary files of a systematic review on extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) in wound management by Musolf B, Nussbaum-Krammer C, O'Neal M, Wuerfel T, Maffulli N and Schmitz C. The review has been submitted for publication. PubMed and Ovid/Embase were searched from inception to 1 September 2026 according to PRISMA, regardless of wound type, study design or ESWT modality. The search identified 51 clinical studies and 46 previously published reviews. Supplementary File 1 contains standardized summaries of all 46 reviews, each with its hypothesis, methods, results and conclusions. Supplementary Files 2–6 contain standardized summaries of all 51 clinical studies, grouped by ESWT modality: electrohydraulic (File 2, 22 studies), electromagnetic (File 3, 11 studies), piezoelectric (File 4, 6 studies), radial (File 5, 12 studies), undisclosed modality (File 6, 2 studies). Two studies used two modalities and therefore appear in two files. For each study, the files give the hypothesis, methods, results and conclusions. They also list 40 key variables (V1–V40), as defined in Table 2 of the main text. These variables cover: wound type and size, study design and overall outcome, intervention and comparator, device, modality and energy flux density, number, density and frequency of shock waves, treatment sessions and intervals, primary and secondary endpoints with their timing and results, sample size and power calculations, adverse events, the eleven criteria of the PEDro scale for methodological quality. The files are intended to make the data extraction fully transparent. They also allow readers to verify every study-level entry in the review and to reuse the data for further analyses.
