Effect of Paraquat on the Alveolar Microphysiological System

RNA sequencing (bulk RNA-seq) data from human alveolar epithelial cells (EPCs) and pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (EDCs) co-cultured in an Alveolar Microphysiological System (AMS) with or without air-liquid interface (ALI). Cells were treated with paraquat (PQ, 50 uM or 200 uM) or DMSO (control) for 4 days to simulate inhalational PQ-induced lung injury. This dataset supports analysis of transcriptomic changes, cell-type-specific responses, and activation of the RAGE/NF-kappaB signaling pathway in PQ-mediated alveolar-capillary barrier injury.
