Aphid Hormaphis cornu RNA-Seq Data

The goal of this project is to identify proteins that the aphid species Hormaphis cornu injects into the host plant Hamamelis virginiana to alter plant development and induce gall formation. This dataset includes RNA-seq data from multiple generations Hormaphis cornu, one generation of which induces gall production, and two tissues types, salivary glands and whole individual. This dataset also includes salivary gland RNA-seq data of gall-making fundatrices that produce either red galls or green galls to study aphid transcriptomic differences leading to variations in gall color.
