Weather station data from the Intensively Monitored Area of the CHARS Experimental and Reference Area, Cambridge Bay, Victoria Island

In order to contribute to the understanding of interactions among element cycles, climate, vegetation cover, and ecosystems, a weather station has been installed in the Intensively Monitored Area of the CHARS Experimental and Reference Area, on the northern shore of Greiner Lake at the beginning of August 2016. The weather station recorded meteorological variables, as well as digital still images from its time of installation until the end of October 2016, when it was damaged by arctic foxes.
