资源简介:
This dataset contains the multilocus alignment (TEF1-α and RPB2) and the Maximum Likelihood phylogenetic tree supporting the description of Fusarium kivuensis sp. nov., a fungal species isolated from infected banana pseudostems in the Kivu region, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The analysis includes two strains from the study together with 50 reference sequences retrieved from GenBank. The Maximum Likelihood tree was generated using RAxML under the GTR+G model with 1000 bootstrap replicates.Morphological data, including colony characteristics on PDA, SNA, and CLA, conidiophores, phialides, macro- and microconidia, and chlamydospores, are described in detail. The dataset files include:The multilocus alignment (FASTA format),RAxML bipartition file (.tree),Publication-ready phylogenetic tree (PDF)Fusarium kivuensis forms a strongly supported clade (BP = 100%) within the Fusarium oxysporum species complex (FOSC), morphologically related to F. triseptatum but distinct in sporodochia production and sequence differences in TEF1-α and RPB2. This dataset enables reproducibility of phylogenetic analyses and provides supporting evidence for the taxonomic description of this new species.
