资源简介:

This dataset contains numerical and experimental results supporting the manuscript "Direct Interception of Particles by a Vegetation Stem with Varying Adhesive Forces" submitted to JGR Earth Surface. The data includes: Drag Coefficient Data (Figure 5) – Numerical predictions of drag coefficient for a circular collector compared with experimental results from Wen et al. (2004), Tritton (1959), and the 3D direct numerical simulation (DNS) results of Henderson (1995). Numerical Results from the Discrete Particle Model (DPM) (Figure 6) – Capture efficiency results from the DPM model, used to simulate particle interception under the assumption of perfect attachment, validated against laboratory experiments. DEM Model Results for Perfect Attachment (Table 1) – Numerical modeling results using the Discrete Element Method (DEM) under the assumption of perfect attachment. DEM Model Results for Varying Adhesive Forces (Table 2) – Numerical results incorporating varying surface adhesion forces to simulate biofilm-induced stickiness and its effect on particle attachment efficiency.
