Operational Control Network (OCN) Water Quality Monitoring Stations in Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur

The role of the Operational Control Network (OCN) is to monitor all bodies of water identified as at risk of not achieving good status in 2015 (water masses having achieved a carry-over or a good status derogation for 2021 or 2027), to monitor water improvements, following the actions put in place under the programmes of measures and, where appropriate, to specify the reasons for the water degradation. Only the parameters giving rise to the risk of not reaching the good condition of the body of water in 2015 are monitored in this network, which was established between 2007 and 2009.
