Alternative splicing of BRAF mRNA can provide a resistance mechanism to BRAF and MEK inhibitors in BRAF-mutant melanoma. The study goal is to understand the mechanism underlying the production of different BRAF isoforms. To do this, we performed whole-genome sequencing of BRAF-mutant cell melanoma cell lines, resistant to MAPK inhibitors.
