The purpose of this experiment was to characterize the fecal sample between broilers and layer chickens hatched and reared under same conditions and sharing same feed. Fecal samples were collected from same individual at the ages of 7, 14, 21 and 28 days. A commercial 3156 kcal broiler starter diet containing 227g/Ton amprolium and 50g/Ton bacitracin methylene disalicylate was provided from hatch to week 2, and a 3131 kcal locally manufactured broiler grower diet from week 3 to 4.
