Dataset for: Study of Descentralized Agroecological Fairs in Peru: Dataset 4 - Transect Walks (Food Diversity and Spatial Distribution)

Transect walks were used to characterize the food environment within each fair by georeferencing and categorizing the content of every stand. This ecological and geographic method enabled the documentation of species, varieties, and food groups present. Data were collected digitally following established Andean protocols and implemented by trained IDMA and ANPE personnel.
