Restoring and protecting riparian connectivity along Jerrara Creek

This project will restore connectivity along 1.5km of the Jerrara Creek riparian corridor, planting 2,000 tube stock and undertaking willow and weed control to improve local biodiversity from escarpment to sea. Intensive grazing management in the Jamberoo Valley has had a significant impact on riparian connectivity and local biodiversity, fragmenting the link between escarpment and coastal woodlands/wetlands in the Minnamurra catchment. Jerrara Creek is a majority tributary of the regionally significant Minnamurra Estuary system.
