资源简介:
This dataset contains the data required to reproduce the results of the article "The Influence of Cool Impactor Accretion on the Early Lunar Paleomagnetic Record." It includes: Modeled magnetic field intensities in uT after 2 days as a function of the temperature difference between the lunar core and the emplacement temperature of the impactor core The maximum time (in days) for which modeled fields can remain above 40 uT as a function of the impactor diameter. This assumes an initial temperature difference of 1,000 K. The maximum time (in days) for which modeled fields can remain above thresholds of 5, 10, 20, and 30 uT as a function of impactor diameter. This assumes an initial temperature difference of 1,000 K. Modeled magnetic field intensities in uT as a function of time for impactor sizes comparable to those that formed the SPA, Imbrium, Orientale, and Korolev basins. Each case assumes an initial temperature difference of 1,000 K. Modeled magnetic field intensities after 28 and 140 days for impactor diameters between 40 and 320 km and initial temperature differences between 0 and 1,000 K.
