These data are obtained by using PALM (https://palm.muk.uni-hannover.de/trac), the large eddy simulation. The simulation is designed to produce a shallow cumulus field following Siebesma et al. (2003). The very version of PALM which the authors used can be found at https://zenodo.org/record/6602210#.ZFzWjHZByHs. <br> LCMA_upload.tar contains both configuration files for the simulation and analysis code for the figures. Please check the README.txt file in the directory. <br> DATA_NetCDF.tar contains the profile output from the PALM simulation, which can be obtained by using provided simulation setup. The simulations are performed with 3 different initial aerosol concentrations (C = 200, 500, and 2000 cm-3). NetCDF data contains profiles for all simulations with 15 s time intervals with various outputs. <br> DATA_ParticleTrack.tar contains the tracking output from the PALM simulation. Please read the README.txt file in LCMA_upload.tar for further information. Particle Tracking data contains unsorted and sorted time series of various variables obtained by tracking 100 randomly selected particles. Analysis code is also included, which provides a brief explanation of the variables in the ASCII data.
