Transcriptomic Study on Peel of Citrus medica 'Miduyuan' (Dali, Yunnan) at Different Developmental Stages

This project aims to investigate the changes in gene expression in the peel of Citrus medica (Xiangyuan) across three different developmental stages: the green fruit stage, the green-yellow fruit stage, and the yellow fruit stage. Samples were collected in April, August, and December respectively, and transcriptome sequencing was performed on these samples. The study is designed to explore the dynamic variation patterns of essential oils and other plant secondary metabolites in the peel of Citrus medica, as well as to identify potential genes associated with the synthesis of terpenoid compounds.
